A little about Phobias
We learn to be afraid of lots of different things, a startling variety of objects and situations. Lots of it we learn in our homes, as we grow up and often these “fears” are unnecessary fears instilled by well meaning parents and teachers, who simply wanted to ensure we lived another day!
As a matter of fact, most of us have a few fears, but if it is something you can avoid then you don’t feel the fear. If you can avoid all black dogs then that intense fear doesn’t get activated in you. So we move into that inner avoidance. Avoid the pain and then it appears…we gain. Truly though, it’s better to just be without the fear.
